About Me
Bonjour! My name is Mrs. Karla and I teach kindergarten and first grade ELA. I have taught at NLE for over 13 years and call it my second home.
I am a New Iberia native and married to Rene. We have two daughters, Evelyn and Wren. Evelyn is in 5th grade French Immersion classes. Wren is in preschool and will start French Immersion classes next year. We have two dogs, Eloise and Matt, and a cat, Violet. My classroom is also home to our class pet, Eleanor the gerbil!
